With this project, the company aims to further automate its intralogistics at the site and increase efficiency in warehousing. The order includes the construction of an AutoStore grid (single-double) with 12,700 containers for machine components with a height of 220 mm. A total of 18 "Red Line" robots and 14 loading stations ensure a continuous material flow and enable an output of 70 storage and 620 retrieval operations per hour. Five carousel ports are installed as workstations.

In addition, the scope of delivery includes numerous safety and infrastructure features, including a fire extinguishing and service platform, aerosol capsules, fire protection walls and a robot cleaning station. Pick-by-light systems at the carousel ports support virtually error-free picking. The robots are painted in the customer's special color to blend in perfectly with the corporate design. In addition, two order picking trolley lifters are provided for efficient material transport.

"With the AutoStore system from HÖRMANN Intralogistics, we are taking a significant step towards automating and optimizing our warehouse processes. The new system enables us to significantly increase efficiency, shorten access times and improve inventory transparency," the Innviertel-based company comments on the implementation and emphasizes: "The cooperation with HÖRMANN Intralogistics puts us in a position to meet the increasing demands for flexibility and speed in mechanical and plant engineering. The new AutoStore system creates a future-oriented basis for the continuous further development of intralogistics at the site."
