Reorganization of the management of Hörmann Intralogistics Solutions
Munich, December 2024 - Steffen Dieterich will retire on January 1, 2025 after more than 30 years with the company. The management of Hörmann Intralogistics Solutions GmbH, part of the Hörmann Group, will be taken over by Rainer Baumgartner and Benito Vigo Nieves.
Intralogistics expert Steffen Dieterich will be leaving the Munich-based general contractor at the turn of the year. Rainer Baumgartner and Benito Vigo Nieves will now be jointly responsible for all strategic and managerial activities and will lead the company into the next phase.
Steffen Dieterich joined Hörmann Intralogistics as a sales engineer directly after studying mechanical engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). in 2008, he was entrusted with the management of the company. During this time, he has successfully completed numerous major projects for automated intralogistics systems for well-known customers and developed the company into an important player in the intralogistics industry.
Rainer Baumgartner has been Managing Director since July 2024 and has more than 17 years of experience with well-known integrators. Benito Vigo Nieves , Head of Realization at the company since January 2023, is appointed second Managing Director. He has over 20 years of experience in the project management of complex large-scale international projects.
In her role as Managing Director of Hörmann Intralogistics Solutions, the focus will be on international expansion and innovation management, in addition to responsibility for all areas of the company. Under her leadership, the company's offering as a full-service general contractor and WMS software manufacturer will be expanded.
Steffen Dieterich, outgoing Managing Director, commented: "I am leaving the company with a smile and a tear in my eye, and I am handing the company over to the experienced hands of the new management with Rainer and Benito as Managing Directors and Robert Heinz (Head of AutoStore) as an additional member of the management team.
